It is not the first time we go to Puglia and especially it is not the first time we go to Salento<\/strong>… we know its magic, its sultry heat, the verdant areas that hide the crystal clear sea. We went back again this time for a small weekend of relaxation; a month has already passed since we left Ibiza,<\/a>but still dreamed of swimming in clear water under a scorching sun and knew that we could only find this in the Salento<\/strong>: glamour, movida, dinners in restaurants and crowded but heavenly beaches.<\/p>\n

In the past we had been to Porto Cesareo<\/strong> and Green Bay<\/strong> but this time we could not miss the cave of poetry,<\/strong>near the famous Bear Tower,<\/strong>seaside resort among the most appreciated and notes of Salento. There are a lot of people, tourists and bathers from Italy and the world. Actually the caves are two, the small one and the big one… the waters enclosed in these two basins are crystal clear, you have to be breathless. An impromptu race between improvised divers is definitely the main spectacle: elderly, children, boys and girls no one resists the charm of the plunge from the highest point of the cliff to this sea that is almost a swimming pool.<\/p>\n

\"bearResting in the sun is an almost impossible feat, the rocks are irregular and uncomfortable but so much the water is so clear and fresh to the right point that it is a pleasure to soak all the time and then it is so hot, this time the famous “jentu”<\/em> of the Salento<\/strong> is not there to refresh the air.<\/p>\n

Another beach stop of our getaway in Salento<\/strong> is one of the most beautiful beaches of this land: the tip lido of suina.<\/strong> There are many people who carry this place in the heart and at the top of their personal list of the most beautiful beaches they have ever seen. To enjoy this day, which began accompanied  <\/span>from a not too clear sky, we choose the G-club<\/strong> a white and gold beach club with platforms, umbrellas and sunbeds.<\/p>\n

The beach club is really very cool, for furnishings (maybe those even a little too much) and people. But the real magic of this place is the sea, a pool of crystal clear water, not too salty, completely transparent. You can not fail to dive completely, let go of this sea so sweet, flat as a table and with the ideal temperature to cool off from this sun that now shines and brings the thermometers to 35 degrees. The rather soft music accompanies the whole hot day, we find the cool right at the bar-restaurant where in the shade of some umbrella we taste a salmon salad and let the light wind that comes from the pine forest behind us dry us a little sweat. At six o’clock, as the sun prepares to dive into the sea in front of our eyes begins the party, one of the “usual” parties of Gallipoli,<\/strong>glamorous and fragrant with mojito.<\/p>\n

As usual we can not close the article without useful information in case you want to visit the two locations:<\/p>\n

For the poetry cave bring cliff shoes will help you not to slip and make me do on the cliff. Be careful where you park, don’t leave your car on the side of the road, you risk a hefty fine. At the cave you will find some hawkers to buy something to drink or even a nice granita.<\/p>\n

If you go to the tip of the Suina, we inform you that the parking lot, very popular and outdoors costs 6 euros throughout the day. At the Gallipoli g-club you will pay 12 euros for a cot. The salads will cost you about 10 euros while a cocktail will cost you an average of 10 euros and you will have access to the open-dinner buffet.
