If in the previous article we told you about the beaches more than Ibiza in the north-east<\/a>, wild and unknown, now we will list the most beautiful and best known beaches in the south of the island, from the wild cove Conta to the hectic Playa d’en bossa.<\/p>\n

CALA CONTA<\/h2>\n

\"cala<\/strong><\/p>\n

Definitely one of the most famous coves of Ibiza: always very crowded, its beauty is undisputed. After parking the car in the free parking, (only buses and taxis can directly access to the beach)<\/em>you cross a very short dirt path that ends on a wonderful cliff, overlooking the sea.
\nAt the foot of this beautiful nature hides Cala Conta<\/strong>, a golden sandy bay and a Caribbean sea, one of the most crystalline of all Ibiza. You enter Cala Conta, passing inside a restaurant dug into the rock, where you can also rent umbrellas and sunbeds, the beach however is completely free.
\nCrowded? yes a lot, like many of the beaches in south of the island and it is certainly one of the most loved coves by Italians. Cala Conta<\/strong> conquers especially for the sea that rises gently and is also perfect for children and for all fans of snorkeling. Compared to many beaches in the south, you will not find many street vendors and this is definitely because of the overcrowding of this small cove which makes it really difficult to find a place for the towel or even just walking.<\/p>\n

PLAYA DE LAS SALINAS<\/h2>\n

\"playa<\/p>\n

It is from one of the most loved beaches of Ibiza where it will not be difficult to meet some of our local VIPs. playa de las<\/strong> salinas<\/strong> is located on the extreme southern tip of Ibiza. Actually it is located in a real natural park, the Protected Area of Ibiza. The long crescent of white sand is surrounded by a rich vegetation and a lush pine forest. The route to reach Las Salinas<\/strong> is very interesting because it allows you to discover and admire the beautiful and famous salt of the island. Once you arrive, you will park your car, the parking will cost you 5 euros for the whole day.
\nThe beach allows you to sit freely with your towel but there are also some, famous, bathing establishments, of which our favorite is definitely the BESO BEACH<\/strong>.
\nAt Beso Beach<\/strong>, two sunbeds and an umbrella cost 30 euros, if you prefer the mattress then it will cost you 50 euros. Try also the cuisine of Beso, refined and tasty.
\nLas Salinas<\/strong> is unfortunately also famous for the countless quantities of street vendors who offer you towels, costumes, sandwiches, drinks and of course the most disparate drugs. Not to be missed are the mini performances of dancers, animators and PR of the various discos of the island that advertise the next party.<\/p>\n

CALA D’HORT<\/h2>\n

Cala d’Hort<\/strong> is one of our favorites: a beautiful bay placed in a magical position, in front of the hypnotic Es vedr\u00e0<\/a><\/strong>. The sand of Cala d’Hort<\/strong> is golden, while the seabed is rocky, so to safely take a bath you need to wear suitable shoes. The water of this bay will make you crazy for the variety of fish and even polyps that you can see even with the naked eye, but beware of small jellyfish that hover occasionally on the shore. Cala D\u2019Hort<\/strong> is also a free beach but always supervised by lifeguards and there are some establishments and restaurants.
\nThe only problem that Cala d’Hort<\/strong>has is parking. We assure you that parking will be really difficult and you will probably have to leave your car far away.
\nCala d’Hort<\/strong> is a very pleasant bay and from which in addition to a wonderful sea you can also enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets of the island.<\/p>\n

CALA TARIDA<\/h2>\n

Cala Tarida<\/strong> is also one of Italy\u2019s favourite bays. In our last trip to Ibiza we stayed right in this area and we enjoyed it very much. Beyond that, the beach of Cala Tarida<\/strong> is sensational and certainly one of the most evocative. It is reached by descending a steep staircase from which you will begin to see a spectacular view; you will surely be impressed by the stone platforms that emerge from the water and from which many people enjoy diving while others prefer to sunbathe. Also in Cala Tarida<\/strong>, part of the beach is free but you will also find beach club and restaurants.
\nNear Cala Tarida<\/strong> you will also find one of the most famous beach clubs in Ibiza, the COTTON BEACH CLUB.<\/strong>
\nWe also recommend this bay for the phenomenal sunset, one of the puestas del sol<\/em>, the most beautiful of the island.<\/p>\n

ES CUBELLS<\/h2>\n

\"cala<\/p>\n

Located at the foot of a large mountain, one of the most beautiful viewpoints south of Ibiza, Cala Es Cubells<\/strong> is a beach mostly pebble. Also the seabed is quite rocky and also quite deep. Because of its characteristics, which make Cala Es Cubells<\/strong> very different from other beaches south of Ibiza, it is not a cove very popular. Yet we highly recommend a walk in this place and maybe stop for lunch in a seafood restaurant on the beach, Take here a cot costs about six euros but do not think it is an underrated area, in fact\u2026 Cala es Cubells<\/strong> is a rather exclusive area where there are many villas with breathtaking views.<\/p>\n

PLAYA D’EN BOSSA<\/h2>\n

You may have heard of it and perhaps someone warned you about the transgressive, lively and crowded Playa d’en bossa<\/strong>. But how is the beach of this super busy area of Ibiza, where all the nightlife of the island is concentrated? Surely the beach of Playa d’en bossa<\/strong> is one of the most beautiful: white sand, crystal clear sea and not too shallow. The entire beach is surrounded by beach clubs, some very chic, others famous for the super parties based on alcohol and seasoned by fantastic DJ-sets. Even here, in the middle of summer it will be really difficult to move or find a slice of sand on which to lay your towel and in addition you will be literally invaded by street vendors but, if you love the nightlife probably Playa d\u2019en bossa<\/strong> will be your favorite beach. We stayed at the beach club of Ushuaia which however is rather quiet and exclusive.<\/p>\n
