Mid-August in Campania<\/h2>\n

For those of us who are still very busy with work and will spend a cool summer in the shadow of the office air conditioner, in Naples or in the Province, we have collected some ideas to spend The Mid-August, as an alternative to the usual barbecue. Even better if you are on holiday here, because in the hottest week of the year, you will really be spoilt for choice.<\/p>\n

Here, the best festivals and the most interesting events in the region divided by provinces.. choose the one you prefer.<\/p>\n

Naples<\/strong><\/h3>\n

CAPODIMONTE MUSEUM<\/h4>\n

Also on August 15th the majestic forest and the exclusive museum of Capodimonte will<\/a> be ready to welcome you, this time with the exceptional works of Jan Fabre<\/strong> in the  exhibition Naturalia and Mirabilia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

MOTHER MUSEUM<\/h4>\n

Completely free throughout august, our museum of contemporary art awaits<\/a> you for an art-filled August. VIA PARTENOPE<\/p>\n

On the evening of Mid-August, as per tradition, at 11 pm shows, entertainment and the inevitable fires on the gulf await you on the seafront of Naples. <\/a><\/p>\n

Agerola<\/h4>\n

Greedy and expected appointment is  the potato festival, which<\/a>takes<\/em>place in the village on the occasion of the celebrations for Maria Santissima Assunta, of which a wonderful wooden statue is kept in the church of Santa Maria La Manna in Agerola<\/p>\n

Salerno<\/strong><\/h3>\n

FELITTO –<\/h4>\n

Another event to enjoy is the Festival del Fusillo Felittese,<\/a><\/strong>one of the best known and loved events, in which you have time to participate until August 22nd.<\/p>\n

Now a date rather known for the guaranteed fun is the country chiena.<\/a>  <\/em> In fact, every summer the River Tenza completely floods the city allowing a very special party with gavettoni in every street<\/p>\n

MAIORI-POSITANO<\/h3>\n

Don’t miss the fireworks <\/a>at sea in these two scenic cities,(perhaps among the most beautiful<\/em> in the world) followed by popular music and dancing.<\/p>\n

Taurasi<\/h4>\n

An unmissable feast for wine lovers, the good one, the timeless one; August 15th is the last day to participate in the Wine Fair<\/em><\/a> where you can enjoy in addition to wine, also excellent food, to the rhythm of good music.<\/p>\n

Flumeri<\/h4>\n

As every year, tradition is respected and the so-called Translation of the gigantic “Lily<\/a>of wheat” is   celebrated,<\/em>a large obelisk, carried on the shoulders of many men of the country. On the day of August the grain lily is taken to the church of San Rocco and, to follow, there is a party is very folkloric.<\/p>\n

Caserta<\/strong><\/h3>\n

MEDITERRANEAN   ECOPARK<\/h4>\n
