Shoes<\/h2>\n

The most comfortable and trustworthy sneakers you have to walk in archaeological sites, such as that of Cnossos.<\/a> We don’t suggest hiking boots because it will probably be too hot to wear them, but a nice gymnastic shoe will certainly help you. If you have already closed the suitcase, reopen it and find space to take it with you.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Jewel flip flops, summer ankle boots, ballerinas, as long as they are not heels because often the roads are not purely asphalt and the risk of falls or distortions is very high. And then they will take up very little space in the suitcase and be perfect with any outfit.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Highly recommended because in the evening it is particularly humid and especially if you are lucky enough to see the hinterland, maybe the town of Damasta, which we have told you about here. I advise you not to pack this garment but to put it in your carry-on luggage, it will help you to withstand the often too strong air conditioning or the wind on the deck of the ship, in case it departs with the latter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Surely as good travelers you will always have in your suitcase a first aid kit, so do not forget something for any fever and sore throat. We both got caught and this is because in Agia Pelagia,<\/a>which is the bay we are talking about here, the water is quite cool and the wind, always quite present, is just as much, so if you can bring something to ward off that.<\/p>\n

Many beaches of Crete are characterized by a shore pebbles rather painful for our feet or real slippery rocks. Avoid unnecessary suffering or fatal falls if you can.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Don’t forget it for any reason in the world. Even if you’re not an expert, snorkeling, compared to actual diving, is within everyone’s reach, including children. The sea of Crete hides too many underwater wonders, it would be a shame to miss them.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In Crete, as in many islands in Greece, the heat is really too hot; so whether it’s straw or canvas it doesn’t matter, always shelter from the heat, especially at peak times.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Anyway there is good news: if anything you forget something, Crete is a really very cheap island so you can buy what you need without spending a fortune.
