The evening spent in Alberobello,<\/strong><\/a>despite having a nice kitchen in our trullo,<\/strong><\/a>we decided to go out and eat something typically Apulian that was not too expensive for us. Without getting too far away from the Sovereign trullo, therefore, we found the restaurant il Trullo dei Sapori and then we tell you about our experience<\/p>\n

The environment is very rustic, at the entrance there is a great decoration with pumpkins, mushrooms and many small details that recall the peasant origins of the village. After the sliding door a large tuff room and many other rustic decorations or that recall the characteristic elements of the trulli such as the ladder.<\/p>\n

We decided to eat something typical and therefore that orecchiette at the turnip tops are. The other waitress of the trullo of flavors, always very kind we need orecchiette so we waited really very little and explains that in reality the typical recipe PROHIBITs the use of Parmesan and only allows fried bread or chili.<\/p>\n

Orecchiette are yummy as well as plentiful and the addition of fried bread is truly a unique gluttony. The turnips are boiled to perfection and very tasty… really good.<\/p>\n

For the second we are oriented towards meat, although the menu also includes fish dishes that do not look bad. Let’s take a mixed meat grill in two. We do well because the dish is plentiful (especially after eating a nice portion of orecchiette). The meat is well cooked, neither too little nor too much. We accompany the   excellent baked potatoes that are served to us in a nice terracotta container.<\/p>\n

The dinner, almost finished, was accompanied by a quarter of red wine, good enough and with a strong taste that went perfectly with the chosen dishes.<\/p>\n

Yet the chef of the trullo of flavors, prepared a fresh tiramisu. I do not like sweets, but to tell the truth to tiramisu I can not resist, so we order a portion to enjoy together. tiramisu is really good, fresh and tasty, we are very happy to be convinced by the two waitresses who in the end also insist on offering us a bitter.<\/p>\n

]The price for this dinner was about 50 euros total including drinks, covered and service. From some tripadvisor reviews, many guests had defined the tullo of flavors, a tourist restaurant.
