If you want to enjoy a nice evening in the company of Matera, you are a beer lovers and you like some special places we can not fail to recommend the Cotta39<\/strong>pub. It is more than a pub, a brewery or rather a gastropub<\/strong> that   we loved. We were 4 friends and stayed at<\/a> Cotta39 on<\/strong>a Sunday night. The environment of this brewery is very particular, always in line with the typical constructions of the Sassi di Matera; dug into the tuff, warm and welcoming. It is a very youthful environment, the tuff walls are white and inside there are the typical wooden beer garden tables.<\/p>\n

Cotta39<\/strong> has a huge choice of craft beers, of which what has won us is a Belgian white beer, Blanche de Bruxelles: sparkling and fruity is perfect if served frozen and to accompany one of the sandwiches of this brewery.<\/p>\n

Speaking of a sandwich, do not miss the one with the bread with the cerali that is really excellent but above all open the dances with a Bruschetta Pomodoro Mozzarella E Crudo Lucano that will leave you breathless. Each sandwich is accompanied by a portion of french fries.<\/p>\n

In addition to sandwiches you can also taste first and second courses of the highest quality that often include typical products.<\/p>\n

The beers are divided by “color” on the cute cork menu where you can also find fantastic “data sheets” about the ideal temperature to serve each beer, the interactions of beer with food or glasses suitable for every type of beer.<\/p>\n

Cotta39 is truly an easy-chic place, a relaxed environment and also suitable for lovers of good music that is often performed live.<\/p>\n

The staff then as well as kind and nice, is very prepared: the boys know every beer well and always know what to recommend even to those who maybe do not know about it or do not drink a lot (like me!).<\/em><\/p>\n

The only negative note of the evening perhaps was the table, placed in the “niche” where it really does an unbearable heat. <\/p>\n

So we recommend this gastropub if you are a boys, you love quiet, atmospheric but informal clubs, craft beer and that touch of confusion that sometimes does not hurt.
