Calcata, Lazio<\/strong><\/p>

Here one of the scariest Halloween parties in Italy takes place which, unfortunately, perhaps this year will not be there. But we can guarantee you that the ancient and perched village of Calcata,<\/a><\/strong>with its little doors, the narrow streets, the cats walking undisturbed and the surrounding walls that overlook the valley … will bewitch you anyway. Don’t be scared if you hear some noise, the village is really inhabited and not by ghosts.<\/p>

Verano Monumental Cemetery, Rome<\/strong><\/p>

The capital’s cemetery museum<\/a><\/strong> extends for about 83 hectares and also hosts many illustrious graves. After all, the cemetery is one of the symbolic places of Halloween … better to choose one of the largest and most renowned isn’t it?<\/p>

Park of the monsters of Bomarzo, Viterbo<\/strong><\/p>

Not even monsters can miss on Halloween and in Italy we have a truly exceptional monster park: the Monster Park of Bomarzo<\/a><\/strong>, the Sacro Bosco, in the province of Viterbo of which you have surely seen some photos … this party could be the occasion right to go there, right?<\/p>

It is said that the devil himself created these bridges, taking the souls of the local population in exchange for a safe passage from one bank of a river to the other.<\/p>

Deep valley of the mills, Sorrento<\/strong><\/p>

Abandoned, silent and inaccessible, completely covered with vegetation, it has something unsettling when you look at it from above and the windows almost seem to stare at you as if someone might suddenly appear. Definitely worth a visit is the valley of the Sorrento Mills<\/a><\/strong> … a ghostly place !!!<\/p>

Cosonno, Lecco<\/strong><\/p>

A real ghost town, a story that almost puts the chills: Cosonno in the province of Lecco was destined to become a city of sin and perdition. Then, as if for divine punishment, it was destroyed and isolated by a landslide and today it is a real ghost town!<\/p>

Pentadactyle; Reggio Calabria<\/strong>Another ghost town. We are in southern Italy, precisely in Calabria. Its name comes from the territory on which it stands that resembles the 5 fingers of one hand (another disturbing detail). According to some Calabrians, a couple more “souls” would live here… let us hope not in the truest sense of the word!<\/p>

Civita di Bagnoregio, Viterbo<\/strong><\/p>

Ok yes it’s not scary, rather it is quite fascinating but well, do you know how Civita di Bagnoregio<\/a><\/strong> is called? The village that dies … would you reject it from the list of Italian places to celebrate Halloween? <\/p>
